Jazz Offense Clicks En Route To First-Quarter Lead Over Indiana Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS – The last month or so of Utah Jazz basketball hasn’t been the prettiest, but they bumped that trend in the first quarter against the Indiana Pacers.
Every player contributed in some way, with most coming out of the gates strong on the offensive end.

Isaiah Collier and Keyonte George set the offense up as they usually do. Both of the young guards posted four points and three assists.
Kyle Filipowski and Collin Sexton both did great work from in close and contributed four points each as well.
Johnny Juzang did what he does best as he laced four three-pointers on five attempts to lead the team with 12 points.

Brice Sensabaugh was the only Jazzman who struggled in the first, but he made his impact elsewhere by grabbing a team-high five rebounds.
The momentum carried into the second quarter too. Utah took a 10-point lead after two minutes.
Last Five Games For Utah Jazz Begin With Road Contest Against Indiana Pacers
The Utah Jazz have just five games left on their schedule as they face the Indiana Pacers tonight.
Coming into the second-to-last game on their road trip, the Jazz have lost seven in a row and 17 of their last 18. During this period, they slowly but surely slid down the standings, and they now have the worst record in the NBA.
Meanwhile, Indiana is one of four teams in the Eastern Conference who have guaranteed a spot in the playoffs as well as a top-6 seed. The Pacers have won two in a row and eight of their last 10.
This is the second and final matchup between Utah and Indiana this season. The Pacers squeaked out a one-point victory over the Jazz on February 3 at Delta Center.
