SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson caught fire shooting the ball during the second half of Utah’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Hawks hosted the Jazz at State Farm Arena on Thursday, November 4.

After struggling in the past few games, Clarkson continued to find the bottom of the basket during the first 24 minutes against Atlanta.

During the first two quarters of play, the guard scored only five points on 1-8 shooting.

After the halftime break, Clarkson flipped a switch and caught fire.

During the third quarter, Clarkson connected on his first three-pointer after missing 23 consecutive attempts from beyond the arc.

Last season’s NBA Sixth Man of the Year exploded for 15 points on 5-6 field goals during the third quarter.

Clarkson continued to cook during the fourth quarter and helped the Jazz put the Hawks away for good.

During the final 12 minutes of action, Utah’s sixth man pushed his total to a game-high 30 points.

Clarkson helped the Jazz to a 116-98 win over the Hawks. He finished shooting 10-19 overall and 4-10 on triples. Clarkson added four rebounds and three assists. He posted a plus-29 rating in 31 minutes of action.

With the win, the Jazz improved their record to 7-1 this season.

Utah’s next game is on the road against the Miami Heat on Saturday, November 6 at 5:30 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA TV, and The Zone Sports Network.
