Jordan Clarkson No-Look Pass Finds Markkanen For Wide Open Three

SALT LAKE CITY – Jordan Clarkson has been spectacularly diming up his teammates as the Utah Jazz lead Dallas heading to the fourth period.
The Jazz (14-19) are hosting Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks (19-14) at Delta Center in a New Year’s Day slugfest.

Clarkson drove baseline and found himself off his feet and surrounded by Mavericks defenders. Clarkson’s only option was to unleash a no-look, over-his-head two-handed pass that found Lauri Markkanen at the top of the key for an easy three,
The former Missouri Tiger is known more for his scoring, but with the Jazz in need of a point guard presence, Clarkson has eight assists to go with 15 points against Dallas. After scoring six first-half points, Markkanen has exploded for 11 points and three triples in the third period.
The Jazz lead 93-79 as they head to the final quarter.

Fifth-year guard Luka Dončić is second in the league, scoring 33.9 points per game. The all-world Dončić also grabs 8.4 rebounds and hands out 9.3 assists per night. Kyrie Irving, in his first full season with Dallas, is averaging 23 points and 5.2 assists per game. The eight-time all-star has been limited to 17 games played this year.
Former Utah Jazz No. 5 overall pick Dante Exum is scoring 9.5 points per game in 29 appearances this season.
