The Jazz license plate builds on the “Take Note” design featuring the black Jazz Note logo that debuted in 2021.
Instead of a white plate with a black note and blue lettering, the new design features a black background, white lettering and a purple Jazz Note logo.
The plate includes five alphanumeric characters and can be personalized.
A portion of the proceeds from each public sale of the license plate will benefit organizations and programs that serve women and children.

The Mammoth plates are the first issued since the franchise relocated from Arizona to Utah in 2024.
They are also the first plates to feature the team’s official Mammoth branding and marks following the adoption of the moniker in 2025.
A portion of the proceeds from each public sale of the Mammoth plates will benefit the SEG Foundation, which supports a variety of causes across Utah.
Per a release from SEG:
-
Utah state law requires the public to express their interest in new special group license plate designs, such as the Utah Mammoth plate, before production can begin. Details on how individuals can register interest will be available at a future date at DMV.utah.gov.
-
Once the above threshold is reached, the plate will move into production. There is currently no specific timeframe for when the Mammoth plates will be available to order.
