MINNEAPOLIS – Micah Potter, typically known for his ability to stretch the floor, showed that he can get up in the first quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Off of a pick-and-roll with Brice Sensabaugh, Potter took the pocket pass to the sky and threw it down over Minnesota guard Donte DiVincenzo.

Potter played well in a competitive first half at Target Center.
He posted five points, three rebounds, and two assists as he played the most minutes off the bench of any Jazzman.
Other than Sensabaugh, who had 14 points, every Jazz player who got on the score sheet posted between five and seven points.

At the break, the Jazz shot 41.3 percent from the floor, 36 percent from three, and trailed 50-49.
Utah Jazz Close Out Season Against Minnesota Timberwolves
The Utah Jazz will close out their 2024-2025 season on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves today.
In this matchup, both teams have something on the line with wildly different consequences. The Timberwolves are in the thick of a playoff seeding battle out West. They hold the seventh seed but can avoid the play-in if the chips fall their way.
Meanwhile, the Jazz are tied with the Wizards for the worst record in the NBA. A season-ending win could break that tie and come back to bite Utah in the Draft Lottery next month.
This is the fourth and final matchup between Utah and Minnesota this season. The Jazz took one of the previous three games. However, the last road game saw the Timberwolves easily secure a 128-102 win.
