Mike Conley Shares Condolences After Death Of Fellow Ohio State Alum Dwayne Haskins

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley shared his condolences following the death of fellow Ohio State alum Dwayne Haskins.
Haskins, 24, was killed in an automobile-related accident on Saturday, April 9.
Shortly after the news of Haskins’ passing, Conley shared his condolences on Twitter.

The former Buckeye also retweeted Ohio State football’s post remembering Haskins.

Like Haskins, Conley was a star for the Buckeyes. Conley played for Ohio State men’s basketball from 2006-07.
Prior to his time in the NFL, Haskins was a star football player at Ohio State from 2017-19.
He finished his time at Ohio State by winning the 2019 Rose Bowl MVP award. He was also awarded the Sammy Baugh Trophy for his play in the 2018 season.

After his college career, Haskins was selected by the Washington Commanders with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
He played the first two seasons of his career with Washington. In 2021, the former Buckeye signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
During his NFL career, Haskins threw for 2,804 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions in 16 games.
