Quin Snyder Wins First Coach’s Challenge Of Regular Season

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder won his first challenge of the regular season.
Snyder’s challenge came with four minutes remaining in the first half of the Jazz’s game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, October 26.
The challenge came after the officials whistled Mike Conley for a foul on a three-point shot attempt by Kings guard De’Aaron Fox.

After review, the officials reversed the foul on Conley and the potential three free throws from Fox. The teams jumped the ball at midcourt and continued play.

The Coach’s Challenge is a new rule that was approved by the NBA Board of Governors this past offseason.
NBA rules say that a challenged foul must have “clear and conclusive visual evidence… for the crew chief to overturn the foul.”
At the time of the challenge, Utah held a 56-38 lead over the Kings.
Snyder’s challenge was his first of the 2019-20 season. He also won a challenge in the preseason.
