SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz are in the thick of a race for top odds in the 2025 NBA Draft. At the All-Star break, where do they sit in the association?

Today’s Look At The NBA Standings

With only one more game left before the upcoming break, the Utah Jazz hold a 13-40 record which puts them at 14th in the Western Conference and 28th overall.

Utah won last night and has three wins in its last seven games. As recently as last week, the Jazz were 15th in the conference and 29th overall. New Orleans has lost 10 in a row and fell below Utah in the standings.

As it stands, they still are tied for the top odds at the No. 1 pick. However, Charlotte is just behind the Jazz with a 13-39 record. Washington is still comfortably in control of the worst record in the association at 9-45.

What’s Next For The Jazz, Other Lottery Hopefuls

The Wizards and Hornets are both done with games before the All-Star festivities. Both New Orleans and Utah play tonight.

The Jazz host the Clippers and the Pelicans host the Kings. Utah played LA last week and lost 130-110. New Orleans played Sacramento last night and lost 119-111.

If the Pelicans win and the Jazz lose, the two teams will have nearly identical records before returning to action on Friday, February 21.

Looking at the final stretch of the season, the Jazz have the eighth toughest remaining schedule while New Orleans has the 10th. Charlotte has the 12th-toughest while Washington has the second-easiest remaining schedule.

There are also some important individual games remaining for Utah. The Jazz play the Pelicans one more time on Sunday, March 2. The Pelicans have won both of the previous two matchups against Utah.

The Jazz also have two games against the Wizards and one game against the Hornets remaining.

On top of all of this, just to close out the month of February, the combined winning percentage of Utah’s opponents is over 58 percent.

Winning three games in the first two weeks of the month wasn’t ideal for Utah regarding lottery odds. However, they are still in prime position to end the season off with a bottom-three record in the NBA.
