Markkanen’s injury took place with 5:58 left in the first quarter.
Curling off of a flare screen, his right hand got stuck between the screener and the Memphis defender, causing his hand to bend unnaturally back toward his forearm.
He was ruled out with a right wrist injury.
Man, looks pretty bad here.
Hope it’s not too serious. Will share an update if we get one.

The Jackson Jr. injury took place shortly after Markkanen went to the locker room.
Memphis’ Ty Jerome fell into his knee, causing it to bend awkwardly. He was quickly subbed out and joined Markkanen in the locker room.
He was ruled out with a right knee injury.
Injury Update:
Jaren Jackson Jr. (right knee) will not return tonight.
