SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley shared a post-season message on his social media accounts a couple of weeks after his team was eliminated from the NBA Playoffs.

The Jazz were dismissed from the postseason after falling in the first round to the Dallas Mavericks, 4-2. Utah was eliminated on April 28.

More than two weeks later, Conley shared a season-ending message on social media. The veteran guard addressed his teammates, coaches, organization, and Jazz Nation in the posts.

“A tough end to a season that was cut shorter than we expected,” Conley shared. “I want to acknowledge my teammates and coaches for what they give to this game. And the organization and fans for your commitment and support. Eyes to the future and growth.”

This season, the Jazz had a 49-33 record in the regular season and earned the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference.

During the regular season, Conley averaged 13.7 points per game on 43.5 percent shooting, including 40.8 percent from beyond the arc. He added 3.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 1.3 steals in 28.6 minutes per contest.

Despite Dallas not having Luka Dončić for the first three games of the first round series with Utah, the Jazz were unable to take advantage of the Mavericks’ injury misfortunate.

The Mavericks won two of the first three games and closed out the series with a pair of consecutive victories.

Dallas won two games in Salt Lake City, including a closeout Game 6.

In the postseason, recorded an average of 9.2 points on 33.3 percent shooting, including 20.0 percent from three. He added 3.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 0.8 steals in 29.0 minutes per game.

Conley is under contract with the Jazz through the next two seasons and will become an unrestricted free agent in 2024. Next season, the Ohio State product will enter the second year of a three-year, $68 million contract, according to Spotrac.
