Utah Jazz Suffer Worst Start Of Season Against Boston Celtics

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz struggled to start the game against the Boston Celtics and suffered their worst start to a game this season.
The Jazz hosted the Celtics at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Wednesday, February 26.
Utah scored 15 points against Boston in the first quarter. It was the worst opening quarter of scoring the Jazz produced this season.

Previously, the Jazz were held to a season-low 17 first quarter points by the Los Angeles Lakers in Utah’s second game of the 2019-20 season.
The Lakers defeated the Jazz 95-86 in that game.
Boston led Utah 23-15 after the first 12 minutes of game time on Wednesday evening.
At the end of the first quarter, the @UtahJazz trail the Boston Celtics 23-15.
The bad news, the Jazz are shooting just 27% from the floor and 1/11 from three.
The good news, they held Boston to just 23 points on 8/22 shooting.

The Jazz shot 27.3 percent from the field and 9.1 percent from three during the first quarter. The Celtics shot 36.4 percent overall and 20.0 percent from the arc.
Boston was led by Jayson Tatum’s 7 points on 3-4 field goals.
Royce O’Neale carried the Jazz with 4 points on 1-2 shooting.
Utah guard Donovan Mitchell missed half of the quarter sitting on the bench with a couple of fouls.
