Utah Jazz Veterans Catch Fire In First Quarter Against Indiana Pacers

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz, led by its veterans, caught fire in the first quarter as the team jumped out to a big lead over the Indiana Pacers.
Jordan Clarkson and John Collins each scored nine points as Utah led 32-24.

After falling behind early, Collins got the team going with a few easy looks.
It started with a dunk but then he showed off his versatility as he stretched the floor and drilled a corner three.
Once Clarkson subbed in, he immediately added to the momentum. The shot was falling early for ‘The Flame’ as he made all three of his first three attempts from deep.

For players with more than one shot attempt in the first, Collins and Clarkson were the only players to shoot 50 percent or better.
With Collin Sexton going down early with an ankle injury, Utah needed its other veterans, and the JCs stepped up to the plate.
Jazz Host Red-Hot Pacers Following Rare Win
The Utah Jazz ended their season-long losing streak as they took down the Orlando Magic at Delta Center on Saturday. For the first time in around a month, the Jazz can pick up back-to-back wins as they face the Pacers.
However, it will be far from an easy task. Indiana has been on fire in 2025, and they’ve won 11 of their last 13. Over the last two seasons, the Jazz have won three of four against the Pacers.
This is the first of two matchups this season. Utah will travel to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on April 4.
