SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz returned home for the first time since All-Star weekend and suffered a 129-118 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday.
Saddiq Bey exploded for a season-high 42 points on 70 percent shooting, and Zion Williamson followed him up with a fifth straight 20+ point night. Ace Bailey led the way for the Jazz with 23 points, 14 of which came in the opening quarter.
Utah will have a chance for revenge this weekend as the Pelicans stay in town for a rematch on Saturday.
