PROVO, Utah – As they all are in the Big 12, BYU basketball is gearing up for another big game.
The Cougars welcome red-hot Kansas State, currently on a six-game winning streak, to the Marriott Center on Saturday night.
Over the past month of the college basketball season, Kansas State has been rated as a Top-10 team nationally by predictive ratings such as Bart Torvik.
BYU is riding high after a big road win earlier this week at West Virginia.
Both teams are needing another quality victory to boost their NCAA Tournament hopes.
BYU was projected as an 11-seed by BracketMatrix.com, which compiles the average of many of the Bracketology forecasts. Kansas State is in the “Next Four Out” territory.
K-State has won six consecutive games, with the past four coming as an underdog.
BYU and K-State split the season series a year ago, with both teams holding serve on their home floor.
