BYU WR Chase Roberts Competes During 2026 NFL Combine

PROVO, Utah – Former BYU football wide receiver Chase Roberts completed his opportunity at the 2026 NFL Combine.
Roberts, who exits BYU as one of the all-time leading receivers in program history, had mixed results at the Combine.

Out of the 34 receivers at the NFL Combine who participated in the 40-yard dash, Roberts ran the slowest time. Roberts finished with an official time of 4.64 seconds.
Only Roberts and Notre Dame’s Malachi Fields finished with a sub-4.6 40-yard dash.
Roberts posted a strong result in the vertical jump at 37 inches, highlighting his ability to be explosive.
He also had the eighth-best broad jump, at 10’6″.
Roberts had an impressive showing during “The Gauntlet” drill, catching passes from quarterbacks on both sides of him as he ran in a straight line from sideline to sideline.
He measured in at 6-foot-3, 209 pounds, with 31 1/2″ arms and 9 3/4″ hands. During his time at BYU, he was listed at 6-foot-4.
Roberts will have an opportunity to test in front of NFL personnel again at BYU’s Pro Day that returns to campus. That will take place on Friday, March 20.
During his four years on the field for BYU, Roberts was a sure-handed receiver who finished with 2,586 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. He led BYU in receiving yards in two of his four seasons in Provo.
