National Media Explodes After BYU’s Holy War Win Over Utah

PROVO, Utah — Bear Bachmeier and the No. 15 BYU Cougars overcame a slow start and No. 23 Utah’s stout defense to down the Utes in a Holy War classic.

National media stood up and took notice of the Cougars’ second straight come-from-behind win.

Cougar fans stormed the field after the clock hit zero, sealing BYU’s 24-21 win over the Utes in hard-earned fashion.

BYU beats Utah 24-21.

Since the start of last year, Cougars are 18-2 overall and 7-0 this year atop the conference, led by a freshman QB who didn't get to campus until May.
