Parker Kingston Gives BYU Two Touchdown Lead Over West Virginia

PROVO, Utah – BYU gadget receiver Parker Kingston has been the focal point of the Cougar offense early, scoring two first-quarter touchdowns for a 14-0 lead over West Virginia.
No. 23 BYU is hosting West Virginia at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Friday, October 3.

The former Roy Royal opened the scoring with the first rushing touchdown of his BYU career to put the finishing touches on a possession that started when Therrian Alexander returned an interception 49 yards to the Mountaineer’s three-yard line.
Kingston caught a screen pass on the next possession, read a block, and sprinted 54 yards untouched for the TD with 3:41 left.

The two scores are the first of Kingston’s 2025. He has six touchdowns, including two punt returns with the Cougars.
BYU leads 14-3 early in the second period.
