Utah Football Offers Top In-State Quarterback, Legacy Kid Isaac Wilson

SALT LAKE CITY- Even though we aren’t through the 2023 signing class yet, Utah football has turned their eyes a bit to 2024. Isaac Wilson, a four-star quarterback out of Corner Canyon and the son of former Ute Mike Wilson received an offer to play for Utah in the future. Whether he takes them up on that offer remains to be seen.
Wilson made the announcement Sunday evening via Twitter with an old photo of his dad in his Utah uniform, along with a picture of him during a visit.

The junior quarterback has impressed in 2022 and already boasts a number of offers from all over the country. Utah joins a list of suitors for the next two years that includes Arizona, BYU, Idaho State, Miami, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah State, Weber State and Georgia according to 247 Sports.
Wilson isn’t the biggest guy under-center, his current measurements stand at 6-foot even and 170-pounds, but chances seem likely he will grow more over the next few seasons. What is for sure is Wilson’s playmaking ability having led Corner Canyon to a 10-2 record in 2022.
In the Charger’s run this season, Wilson completed 208 of 332 for 3,362, 37 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Currently, Wilson is considered as the No. 10 quarterback in 2024 recruiting class.
Wilson does hail from a long line of football talent starting with his dad Mike, who played on the defensive line for the Utes back in the early ’90s. Recently, Wilson’s older brother Zach rose to fame as the starting quarterback for Utah’s rival, BYU from 2018-2020. Zach’s play his senior year boosted his stock in the NFL and he was ultimately taken with the No. 2 pick of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Jets.
There is still a lot of time before the latest Wilson has to make any decisions about his future, but based on family history along with current projections, it seems as if he’s on track to make some noise for a lucky school two years from now.
