TV Info, Kickoff Time Revealed For BYU Football Game At Washington State

PROVO, Utah – The day games keep rolling in for the BYU football team. BYU’s first-ever trip to the Palouse at Washington State in Pullman will be an afternoon tilt.

The Pac-12 Conference announced TV selections and kickoff times for games taking place on October 23. The battle of the Cougars between BYU and Washington State will kickoff at 1:30 p.m. (MT) and be televised nationally on FS1.
When BYU faces Washington State, it will be the third consecutive day game for Kalani Sitake’s squad. BYU lost their first day game of the season at home against Boise State this past Saturday.
This will be BYU’s sixth appearance all-time on FS1. Fox Sports 1 launched in 2013 and the Cougars’ first appearance on the network was in 2014 against Texas. BYU is 3-2 all-time in games played on FS1. The last appearance was in 2020 on a Friday night tilt against Boise State.
Kalani Sitake’s first game as BYU’s head coach in 2016 took place on FS1, an 18-16 victory over Arizona.
BYU leads the all-time series against Washington State 3-1. The last meeting took place in 2012 and this matchup concludes a two-game series between the schools.
Washington State is the only team in the Pac-12 that BYU hasn’t faced on their home venue.
BYU is currently 5-1 and ranked No. 19 in the AP Top 25 poll. After starting 1-3, Washington State has won a pair of Pac-12 games against Cal and Oregon State in consecutive weeks to bring their record back to .500 at 3-3.
