BYU Football Announces East Carolina Kickoff Time

PROVO, Utah – The BYU football program is enjoying an early bye in week three after dominating wins over Portland State and Stanford to begin the 2025 season.
Following the bye, the Cougars will travel to Greenville, North Carolina, to take on the East Carolina Pirates in their first road test.

The Pirates began 2025 with a 24-17 road loss to the North Carolina State Wolfpack. East Carolina returned home last weekend and handed Campbell a 56-3 beatdown.
What time does BYU vs. East Carolina kickoff?
The Cougars and Pirates square up on ESPN 2 with a 7:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. MT kickoff.
This is BYU’s third consecutive night game and will make five games under the lights to begin the year.

Saturday’s game represents the fourth time these programs have met up since 2015.
BYU beat the Pirates 45-38 in 2015 at LaVell Edwards Stadium
The return trip to East Carolina didn’t go so well for the Cougars, as ECU held court in a 33-17 victory.
The Pirates improved to 2-1 against BYU when they protected home field in a 27-24 win.
