SALT LAKE CITY – In the final contest of the regular season, Southern Utah defeated Texas-Rio Grande Valley on the road.
The game was in Edinburg, Texas.

The Thunderbirds led at the half, 30-28. The game remained close until the end when Southern Utah pulled away for the win, 68-59.
Jamari Sibli and Dominique Ford led the way with 15 points each and Braden Housley put up 12 for SUU.

Southern Utah finished the 2023/24 season with a 9-21 record, only finishing one spot above UTRGV who finished last in the conference.
