Devon Dampier Finds Ryan Davis To Put Utah Football Up Three Scores

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Utah football quarterback Devon Dampier found the window to connect with Ryan Davis, putting the Utes up 21-0 against West Virginia.
Utah went 3/3 on its first three drives of the game with two passing touchdowns and a third Dampier rushing score.

Over the first three series, Dampier completed eight of 11 passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns, and added 18 yards on six scrambles.
Davis was the Utes’ leading receiver at this point with 3 receptions for 53 yards and the TD. Dating back to 2023 in New Mexico, Dampier and Davis have connected for six touchdowns.
Utah’s third drive was the first quick one of the game, sitting at just six plays and coming in under three minutes. Both of the first two drives extended over double-digit plays and ate over four minutes off the clock.
Utah Football Continues Conference Play In West Virginia
The Utah football team hits the road today, looking for its first win in conference play against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
After a blazing hot start to the season that saw the Utes climb up to No. 16 in the AP Top 25 Poll, the Red Raiders brought them back to earth in week three. Now Utah looks to get back on the horse as they travel to face the 2-2 Mountaineers.
This week five matchup in 2025 marks the first time Utah and West Virginia will face off as conference opponents.
