Every Utah Football Touchdown Scored In Blowout Win Over Baylor Bears

WACO, Texas — Utah football was firing on all cylinders in a big 55-28 win over the Baylor Bears in week 12.
The Utes scored eight total touchdowns, with five coming on the ground, three through the air, and one on defense. Let’s take a look back at each Utah trip to the end zone.
Utah Football Drops 55 Points On Baylor In Waco
After shaking off the bye week rust, the Utes embarked on a 10-play, 76-yard drive that ate nearly five minutes off the clock.
Quarterback Devon Dampier found Dallen Bentley for six to cap off the first scoring drive.

Less than three minutes later, Utah added six more. This time, it was from the defense.
Elijah “Scooby” Davis picked off the Bears QB and raced 65 yards to the house to make it 14-0. It was the second pick-six of the year for Utah.

Two of the next three offensive drives ended in big-play TDs for the Utes.
First was backup quarterback Byrd Ficklin. On his second snap of the game, he took off for a 67-yard rushing score. It was the longest run of the season for Utah.

About five minutes later, running back Wayshawn Parker said, “Whatever you can do, I can do better.”
He broke free for a 64-yard rushing score. Parker ended up eclipsing 100 yards for the game. It was his third straight contest with triple-digits on the ground.

After halftime came and went, the Utes kept their foot on the gas. Baylor continued to hang around, so Utah did its best to bury the Bears.
In the third quarter, Ficklin once again showed off his speed on a 74-yard rushing TD, setting a new mark for longest TD of the season.

Already with 35 points on the board, the Utes settled down in the red zone for the first time late in the third.
To start the fourth, running back NaQuari Rogers got in on the fun with a three-yard score.

On the ensuing drive, Trey Reynolds nabbed Utah’s second pick of the game and returned it to inside the 10-yard line.
The Utes’ offense made sure to take advantage of the field position with Parker’s second score of the game.

They weren’t quite done there, though.
Later in the fourth quarter, Utah marched 90 yards, and after a Nate Johnson touchdown was taken back, Rogers got his second of the game.

Utah Football Hits Road To Face Baylor Bears
Utah football played its first game out of state in over a month in week 12 against the Baylor Bears.
Coming off a bye week, the Utes had won two straight and looked for their second conference road win this season. Meanwhile, the Bears had won their last game but lost two straight before that.
It was, technically, the first conference meeting between the schools. Last year, they met, but it was counted as a non-conference game because the matchup was scheduled before Utah officially joined the Big 12.
