Utah Football Makes Statement With Blowout Win Over UCLA In Rose Bowl

PASADENA, Calif. – Utah football was firing on all cylinders as they opened their 2025 campaign with a blowout 43-10 win over the UCLA Bruins in the Rose Bowl on Saturday.
Quarterback Devon Dampier was electric in his Utes debut. He connected on 21 of his 25 pass attempts for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Dampier also led the team in rushing with 16 carries for 87 yards and a score on the ground.
The matchup saw dominant performances in the trenches, defensive stars scoring touchdowns on offense, and everything in between.
Utah will return home to Rice-Eccles Stadium in week two for a matchup against the Cal Poly Mustangs on Saturday, September 6.
