LOGAN, Utah—Utah State athletics celebrates its long and illustrious history by inducting seven new members into the USU Athletics Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame Class of 2025 induction ceremony will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Gary Andersen – Football (2009-12, 2019-2020)
Gary Andersen led a re-imagining of the Aggie football program that continues today. Andersen’s 33 wins are the fifth most in program history, and his three bowl appearances are tied for the second-most. The 2012 Aggies finished 11-2 and ended the year ranked 16th in the final AP poll. Andersen earned WAC Coach of the Year honors and was a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year award.

“Being inducted into the Utah State Athletics Hall of Fame is a tremendous honor,” the two-time Aggie head coach said. “This recognition reflects the collective efforts of the amazing players, coaches, and staff who dedicated their talents and hard work to the Aggie Football Family over the years.”
Tyler Larsen – Football (2009-2013)
A three-time All-Conference honoree, Tyler Larsen was one of six Rimington Trophy finalists as a senior. The Salt Lake native started the final 52 games of his Aggie career before a ten-year NFL career with Washington and Carolina.

“I am honored to be inducted into the USU Athletics Hall of Fame, this will forever be one of my greatest achievements,” Larsen said appreciatively. “To be amongst so many greats that have been before me is something I will always cherish and wear proudly.”
Shawn Daniels – Men’s Basketball (2000-2001)
A two-year starter under Stew Morrill, Shawn Daniels started all 68 games he played in an Aggie uniform, leading the program to back-to-back 28-win campaigns. He scored in double-figures in 48 games, including a pair of 20+ point outings. Daniels ended his USU career averaging 11.9 points and 7.3 boards. He is fifth in Aggie history with 117 blocked shots.

“Being inducted into the USU Athletics Hall of Fame is an incredible honor and truly a blessing from God,” Daniels said. “I wouldn’t have made it without God, my coaches, and my teammates. This is a lifetime honor that I will never forget, and I’m truly grateful.”
Devyn Christensen – Women’s Basketball 2010-2013)
One of the most decorated players in USU women’s basketball history, Devyn Christensen, was elite on both ends of the floor during her four seasons in Logan. The Union, Oregon native is first in threes made (226) and attempted (632). Her 1,551 career points are second on the Aggie’s all-time list and eighth in career scoring average (13.3 ppg). Christensen has the fourth-most steals (191) in program history, and her 117 games played is the ninth-most.

“They say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,” Christensen reflected. “Every single day I’ve played basketball that has been true for me. I’m humbled to be a recipient of this Hall of Fame induction and know that it was my genuine LOVE of the daily work that helped me reach a level worthy of this recognition.”
Amanda Orgill-Nielson – Volleyball (2004-2007)
Amanda Orgill-Nielson earned AVCA All-West Region honors as a senior in 2007 and became one of 11 Aggies named All-American. She is fourth in program history with 1,369 kills and sixth with 359 career blocks. Orgill-Nelson played 121 matches, the fourth-most in Aggie history.

“It is an absolute honor and privilege to be inducted into the USU Athletics Hall of Fame,” Orgill-Nielson said. “I’m humbled to join so many great athletes from past years. My four years at USU were some of the best and most memorable years of my life.”
Jessica Parenti Otte – Gymnastics (2003, 2005-2007)
A three-time All-WAC gymnast, Jessica Perenti-Otte was named WAC Gymnast of the Year as a senior in 2007. She was named All-WAC on the vault, bars, beam, and all-around.

“I am humbled and honored to be inducted into the Athleticic’s Hall of Fame,” the former Aggie said. “Being a student-athlete at Utah State is not just a chapter of my life; it is a defining part of who I am today.”
Taryn Rose – Women’s Soccer (2011-2014)
A North Salt Lake native, Taryn Rose, helped pilot the Aggies to a 48-23-15 record in her four seasons and was part of USU’s first two NCAA Tournament appearances in program history. The defender started every game she played as an Aggie, amassing nearly 8,000 minutes of game time. As a senior, Rose was named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year.
