How To Watch 2025 Mountain West Basketball Championships

The Utah State Aggies released a tentative Mountain West slate for the 2025-26 men's basketball season.
LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Utah State is in Las Vegas, looking to make a run through the Mountain West Basketball Championships and earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. A late-season swoon dropped the Aggies to the third seed, behind New Mexico and Colorado State.
The 2025 Mountain West Championships are being held March 12-15 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

USU is participating in its 12th MW Tournament and is 17-9 all-time. The Aggies won the tournament in 2019 and 2020 and have advanced to the tournament title game four times. This is the second time Utah State has entered the postseason tournament as a three-seed.
Ian Martinez and Mason Falslev made the All-MW postseason team after leading Utah State to a 25-6 regular season record and a 15-5 record in conference play.

In his final collegiate season, Martinez was named to All-MW’s first team after leading USU in scoring and was fifth in the league, with 16.9 points a night. He became the first Aggie to reach double-figures in every game since Jaycee Carroll in 2007-08. His streak of 34 consecutive ten-plus point games is the third longest in the country.
Falslev earned second-team All-MW and was named to the All-Defensive team. The sophomore contributed 16.9 points and 3.7 assists, both second on the team. He led USU with 6.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. His 71 steals tie for the third most in Aggie history. All four marks were top-ten in the conference.

The first round of the MW Championships went chalk with No. 6 San Jose State upending No. 9 Wyoming 66-61 to start the day. No. 7 Nevada pulled away from No. 10 Fresno State for an 86-71 win in the second game.
UNLV held off 11th-seeded Air Force 68-59 in the final of three games on Wednesday, March 12. Jalen Hill led the Rebels with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists while playing all 40 minutes. Jeremiah Cherry and Jalen Bedford added 13 points apiece.

The Runnin’ Rebels handed Utah State its first conference loss in Las Vegas in a 65-62 setback. Jalen Hill led UNLV with 15 points and eight rebounds, followed by 13 points from Julian Rishwain. Tucker Anderson drained four of eight threes for a game-high 19 points in the loss. The loss dropped the Aggies out of the top 25.
USU rebounded with a 76-71 home win two weeks later. Deyton Albury’s 16 points and three steals led five Aggies in double digits. Drake Allen added 15, and Mason Falslev chipped in 13 points, five rebounds, and two steals. Sensational sophomore guard Dedan Thomas Jr. led UNLV with 22 points and six assists.

The Mountain West title game will air on CBS at 4 p.m. MT on Saturday, March 15.
