Utah State To Play In 2022 Diamond Head Classic Tournament

SALT LAKE CITY – The Diamond Head Classic announced the Utah State men’s basketball team as one of the eight programs to participate in its 2022 tournament.

The field of teams was announced on Tuesday, March 8.
The 2022 Diamond Head Classic will be played from December 22-25 at SimpliFi Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
These are the teams that will play in the tourney:
- George Washington
- Hawaii
- Iona
- Pepperdine
- Seattle
- SMU
- Utah State
- Washington State

Hawaii has been hosting the tournament every year since 2009.
Tickets for the event are anticipated to go on sale in October.
Utah State currently owns a 17-14 record this season, including 8-10 in Mountain West Conference contests.
The Aggies will finish their regular season schedule against the Air Force Falcons on Wednesday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m. (MDT). The game will air on The Zone Sports Network.
