Huntley Runs In For Touchdown To Give Utes Lead

SEATTLE, Wash. – Utah Utes quarterback Tyler Huntley ran in a one-yard touchdown to give the Utes a 26-21 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Huntley has been dealing with a knee injury that he suffered two weeks ago in their 21-3 win over Arizona State. He said that he was about 75 percent healthy in that game and still played last week in the 35-0 shutout win over California last week.
The senior star quarterback’s speed isn’t all the way back but he was able to get to the edge and barely find the end zone.

It was Huntley’s fourth rushing, one against Northern Illinois and two against Washington State.
To that point in the game, Huntley had over 250 passing yards on just five incomplete passes for one touchdown through the air. He was forced to run the ball a few times and had just 6 rushing yards and the critical touchdown.
Utah stepped up in the second half on both sides of the ball, outscoring Washington 13-7 and the defense forced two interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown by Jaylon Johnson.
