Jeff Rudy Promoted To Associated AD For Utah Football Administration

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah athletics announced that they have promoted Jeff Rudy to Associate Athletics Director for Football Administration.

Jeff Rudy spent the past 15 years as the Director of Football Operations for Utah. In his new role, Rudy will serve in the senior administrative team of Utah Athletics for the management and operations of the Utah Football program.

It’s widely known that Rudy is a big part of Utah’s success within their football program. He works closely with head coach Kyle Whittingham on the day-to-day logistics, along with budget management, recruiting, team travel, camps, clinics, marketing, public relations, special functions and administrative projects.

Jeff Rudy was the main person behind the construction and planning of the state-of-the-art Spence & Cleone Eccles Football Center. He has also been a big part of the football aspect of the renovation of Rice-Eccles Stadium and the Ken Garff Performance Zone, which is set to open this summer.

Kyle Whittingham has mentioned many times through the years how big of an impact Rudy has on the Utah football program and all the work he does behind the scenes.

Rudy graduated at Southern Utah University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He received his master’s degree from Azusa Pacific University in their administration of physical education degree.
