Utah QB Cam Rising Keeps It For TD Run Against UCLA

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah quarterback Cam Rising pulled the ball for a keeper and ran the ball into the end zone for his second touchdown against the UCLA Bruins.

The Utes hosted the Bruins at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, October 30.
With 14:55 remaining in the fourth quarter, Rising kept the ball on a read-option play. The sophomore quarterback ran the ball 12 yards into the end zone for six points.
Rising’s score was his second of the game and first on the ground.
The touchdown gave Utah a 35-17 lead.

Rising’s run capped an 11-play, 75-yard drive that took 5:04 off the clock.
After the play, Rising was 15/25 passing for 157 yards and a touchdown. He added four carries for 45 yards and a score on the ground.
Rising has run for three touchdowns this season.
