Utah RB Zack Moss Will Not Play In Senior Bowl

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Utes star running back Zack Moss has decided to not play in the upcoming Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

The game will take place on Saturday, January 25.
sports.ksl.com has received confirmation from the Senior Bowl that Moss will not participate in the game and will be replaced by UCLA running back Joshua Kelley.

The Utes had six players originally invited to the Senior Bowl, including linebacker Francis Bernard, defensive end Bradlee Anae, defensive tackle Leki Fotu, safeties Terrell Burgess and Julian Blackmon, along with Moss. Now that Moss is out and Blackmon suffered a season-ending injury in the Pac-12 Championship game against Oregon, the Utes have four players that will play in the Senior Bowl.
Utah clearly had the most participants when the invites went out. Now they are tied with Alabama, Florida and Ohio State for the third most players in the game with four.
Michigan has the most players on the Senior Bowl roster with six. Notre Dame and South Carolina each have five players in the game.
Moss will now get ready for the NFL Draft after rushing for 1,416 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. He was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year after basically taking every rushing record in Utah football history and was named first team All-Pac-12.
