Davis Goes Untouched For TD In Weber State’s First Win

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State Wildcats running back, Josh Davis went untouched for an 18-yard touchdown run that helped propel the Wildcats to their first win of the season against Cal Poly.
The Wildcats RB scored his second touchdown of the game on a run up the middle of the field. No Cal Poly defenders were able to get a hand on Davis as he ran the ball in for six points.
Davis’ untouched TD came with 24 seconds left in the third quarter and put the Wildcats up 13 before a PAT made it 31-17.

Davis had 14 carries for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns in Weber State’s 41-24 victory.
The running back’s first touchdown of the night came before halftime and put the Wildcats up for good with a 17-10 lead going into the break.

The Wildcats bounced back from a loss in their first game to FBS opponent, San Diego State 6-0.
Weber State’s next game is Saturday, September 14 against another FBS team. They’ll head on the road to face Nevada at 5 p.m. (MDT).
