Weber State Football Unveils New Utah-Inspired Beehive Helmets

SALT LAKE CITY — The Weber State Wildcats are set to debut an all-new look this Saturday on the football field.
The football program unveiled new Beehive helmets, inspired by the Utah state flag, on Thursday.

In a social post on X, Weber State Football said:
Celebrating the State in Weber State! Saturday, we’ll debut our Beehive helmet from the Utah State flag. The first team to use the new Beehive crest on a uniform. Proud to be part of this Great, Great, Great State!
The helmet is all-black and has a honeycomb-shaped crest on the sides. Inside the crest is a yellow beehive, a nod to the Utah flag and the state’s monocer.
The Wildcats host the Eastern Washington Eagles at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah, on Saturday, October 25. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. (MT).

Weber State Football In 2025
The Wildcats are seven games into their 2025 season and currently sit at 3-4. With a 1-2 record in Big Sky play, they hold the ninth spot in the conference.
Quarterback Jackson Gilkey leads the squad, completing 59 of his 115 attempts for 693 yards and four touchdowns.
Davion Godley has cemented himself as RB1 with 86 carries for 417 yards and three touchdowns. His partner in the backfield, Chauncey Sylvester, has posted 282 yards and three scores as well so far this season.
The receiver room has seen equal opportunity this year. Three wideouts and one tight end all have 130 or more receiving yards on the season, and no player has more than one TD.
Three of Weber State’s final five games are at home. They will close the season against Northern Arizona on November 22.
