Report: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers Agree To 4-Year Deal

SALT LAKE CITY – Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers agreed to a four-year, $200 million dollar deal, according to Ian Rapoport.
After somewhat of a tumultuous season, the Packers locked down Rodgers making him the highest-paid player in NFL history. He gets $153 million guaranteed. Rodgers is a four-time NFL MVP.
This puts former Utah State Aggie quarterback Jordan Love in an interesting position as he backs up Rodgers. The Packers drafted Love in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Rodgers led the Packers to a 13-4 season. The team lost in the NFC Divisional round to the San Fransisco 49ers.

Aaron Rodgers With The Green Bay Packers
The Packer’s signal-caller had some ups and downs during this past season. He was out with COVID-19 and during that time came under fire for reporting he had been “immunized” when it later came out he did not get vaccinated against COVID-19. The debacle took off on social media spurring Rodger’s to comment on cancel culture and get involved in a political world he claimed he would rather stay out of. Most of this went down on the Pat Macafee show where Rodgers typically makes weekly appearances.
Rodgers has one Super Bowl victory under his belt from 2011 when the Packers beat the Steelers 32-25 at Cowboy’s Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The former Cal Bear was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2005 NFL Draft at pick #24. Rodger sat behind Brett Favre in Green Bay for three seasons, learning from one of the best clearly had an impact on Rodgers’s long and successful career.
Rodgers has played in 213 games with a 65.3 career completion percentage. He has 449 career touchdowns and 93 interceptions. Much like Brett Favre, Rodgers is well-loved by the Packer community, another Super Bowl for Green Bay could fuel that love even after what may have been the most controversial season of his career.
