Three Utah Royals FC Players Named To USWNT Roster

SANDY, Utah – Three key members of the Utah Royals have been called up again to the United States Women’s National Team.

Defenders Kelley O’Hara and Becky Sauerbrunn along with forward Christen Press will join the United States for the annual “SheBelieves Cup.”
The annual tournament will be held in three different cities in the United States including Frisco, Texas, Harrison, New Jersey and Orlando, Florida. The SheBelieves Cup will take place from March 5-15. The United States will face England, Japan and Spain with the team claiming the most points will be declared the winner of the cup.
The Utah Royals trio recently helped the United States qualify for the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan after winning the CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament earlier this month.

To help prepare for the Olympics, the United States will face Australia in a friendly at Rio Tinto Stadium, the home of Utah Royals FC, on April 10. Tickets for that match will go on sale on Wednesday, February 19 at 11 a.m. MT.
