Snow College Suspends Football Activities For Investigation After Player Passes Out During Practice

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Snow College suspended all football related activities for an investigation after a football player passed out while participating in a routine practice.
A school official confirmed the investigation to sports.ksl.com on Tuesday, September 15.
Snow College is a community college located in Ephraim, Utah.
“During practice yesterday, a football player passed out as he was participating in the daily routine practice,’ the Snow College official told sports.ksl.com. “Athletic trainers were on-site and responded. The player was transported to the hospital where he was monitored and released. HIPAA and FERPA regulations do not allow us to further comment about the individual or his health.”

The school will conduct an investigation of the situation and football activities will be suspended until it has been “resolved appropriately.”
Snow College also said that the “health and safety of our athletes – and all students – are a top priority” for the school.
In July, the Badgers found out their 2020 football season had been pushed to the spring of 2021 following a decision by the NJCAA amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Snow College finished the 2019 season with a 5-3 record, including a 30-27 win over No. 3 ranked Garden City.
