He’s Back: Zack Moss Dominates BYU In Second Half

PROVO, Utah – Utah running back Zack Moss made his first start since returning from injury last season and had a great second half against BYU.
He racked up 187 yards on the ground in the Utes 30-12 win over the BYU Cougars in the season opener.
Moss rushed for just 58 yards in the first half with Utah holding a 9-6 lead.

The second half is where Moss shined, with 41 yards in the third quarter and 25 yards in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter, including a touchdown before the game was delayed due to lightning in the area.
At the time of the delay, he had 134 rushing yards on 21 carries with one touchdown.

Moss missed the last five games of the season in 2018 with a knee injury, including the Pac-12 Championship loss to Washington and the Holiday Bowl loss to Northwestern.
It was also reported that Moss suffered a hand injury during fall camp but did not have any issues against BYU.
