Jazz Prepare For Lakers Coming Off Brutal Five Game Road Trip

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz scuffled through a five-game road trip, winning just one game, and losing the other four in either heartbreaking or disheartening fashion. The Jazz lone victory came over the lowly Memphis Grizzlies, a game in which the Jazz trailed by 15 points at halftime.
The Jazz trailed the Toronto Raptors by 40 at halftime, trailed the 76ers by 26 in the first half and lost to the Indiana Pacers by 19. The Jazz best performance of the trip came against the Milwaukee Bucks that saw the Jazz knock down a team record 21 three-pointers, in a 122-118 loss.
While serious issues must be addressed with the Jazz, specifically the over-reliance on mid-range floaters, the lack of production from the guards off the bench, and inconsistent play from the reserve big men, the Jazz unkind schedule shares some of the blame for the rough stretch.
The Jazz haven’t practiced since November 17th.
