SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – What this week lacks in razzle dazzle dunks, it makes up for in sheer power. No time for 360 slams, or windmill throw downs, this list is layered with high flying alley-oops and devastating facials.

Nicolo Melli makes bad business decisions at the rim, Danny Green shows he can touch the ceiling, and LeBron James reminds everyone why his size, strength, and athleticism are unmatched in the history of the NBA.

Enjoy another list of the top 10 dunks of the week!

Rudy Gobert Finishes Over Jarrett Allen

Rudy Gobert dunks on a lot of people. Likewise, Jarrett Allen blocks a lot of people. In this meeting, Allen ended up on the wrong end of the equation.

In fact, Gobert got the best of Allen and the Nets all night. Gobert finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds, in a Jazz victory.

Allen fouled out in 18 minutes.

Malik Monk With The One Handed Alley-Oop

Admittedly, it’s difficult to think of Malik Monk, and not recognize that he was drafted just two spots in front of Donovan Mitchell. That hasn’t really worked out.

However, that doesn’t need to overshadow his elite athleticism which was on full display on this lob. The one handed catch, cock, and finish while in the air is extremely impressive. As is his 62% field goal percentage on two point attempts this year.

That number will only go up with dunks like this.

Ben Simmons, Bad Start, Great Finish

Hard to see this dunk and not think of Grant Hill at Duke throwing it down against Kansas.

As Ben Simmons shows here, some of the best dunks come from bad lob passes. It’s the mid-air adjustment that makes this dunk truly special.

LeBron James Reminds Kings Who’s King

LeBron James is in his 17th year, and this is as good as any dunk he’s ever thrown down. First he beats Bogdan Bogdanovic off the dribble, then jumps just a step inside the free-throw line, and erases Nemanja Bjelica from the face of the earth.

This type of power and athleticism should be reserved for the young and the reckless, but James still channels it at 34 years old.

All Hail the King.

Kendrick Nunn With The Lefty Facial

Is Kendrick Nunn still a secret?

The undrafted rookie in Miami is averaging a hair under 18 points per game, is shooting lights out, and it overshadowing lottery pick Tyler Herro, who some were calling a dark horse Rookie of the Year candidate.

Nunn won’t be a secret much longer with finishes like these over the Pelicans.

Nicolo Melli made a bad decision here. Don’t worry, it gets worse for him later on down the list.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Posterizes Pacers

It’s easy to overlook the amazing things the Greek Freak does, because he does them so often. Still, it’s important to realize that this is a lot of really big people to dunk on in one play.

Giannis Antetokounmpo makes this look easy, and it most definitely isn’t.

Jerami Grant Tames The Grizzlies

Jerami Grant really puts everything you want into this dunk. He attacks Solomon Hill off the dribble, he holds the ball high, he explodes in traffic, and finishes with two hands and incredible power.

Look at the backboard shake after the dunk.

For some reason the Nuggets official twitter account neglected to tweet out this highlight, which reconfirms how underrated it is.

Jabari Parker Extends Over Lakers

Did you know Jabari Parker is tied with Rudy Gobert for the fifth most dunks in the NBA? He has 37 dunks in just 13 games.

With that many dunks, he’s guaranteed himself a fair share of fancy finishes.

The quick gather, and extension at his size makes this dunk uniquely special. Good to see Parker having a bounce back year in Atlanta.

Marquese Chriss Crushes Melli

Marquese Chriss makes this list every week. And for good reason, his best skill is dunking on people, so if he wants to stick around in the NBA, he’ll need to keep churning out highlights like this.

So far, so good for Chriss in a Warriors uniform.

By the way, this is where it gets worse for Nicolo Melli. Dunked on twice in one week, ouch.

Danny Green Turns Back Clock On Hawks

Did anyone know Danny Green could dunk?

At this point in his career, Green has resorted to mostly hitting threes, and playing defense. That’s part of what made this dunk so special.

Green stars running as soon as LeBron puts the shot up, times the leap perfectly, and catches it and throws down with just one hand.

Pretty awesome for year 11.
