Wednesday will be another hot day with highs in the upper 80s near 90 across the Wasatch Front. What you'll really feel tomorrow is the breezy to windy conditions across the state. Wind gusts up to 25-35 mph will be common, and gusts up to 40 will be possible in southwestern Utah. This could lead to blowing dust across western Utah and elevated fire danger in southwest Utah. Also tomorrow, scattered dry thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and early evening from central Utah northward. Storms will initially develop over the higher terrain but can drift over adjacent valley areas. The Storm Prediction Center highlights northern Utah in a Marginal Risk for severe wind gusts. Essentially, there's an isolated chance for wind gusts up to 60 mph from these dry storms.
