BYU football head coach Kalani Sitake spoke with reporters on July 30, 2025, at the Zions Bank Practice Fields at the Student Athlete Building in Provo, Utah.

A hot topic for Sitake was the discussion about the quarterback battle after the departure of Jake Retzlaff to Tulane. Treyson Bourguet, McCae Hillstead, and true freshman Bear Bachmeier are contending for the job.
