However, there is some bad news returning from the Sunshine State regarding the injury status of one of Utah’s key pieces.

Jordan Clarkson didn’t even play three minutes before leaving the game with an injury against the Miami Heat. Later in the game, the Jazz announced that the injury was to Clarson’s left plantar fascia and that he would not return to the game.

What’s the nature Of the Jordan Clarkson Injury?

Jordan Clarkson sat out of Utah’s contest with the Orlando Magic and underwent an MRI upon returning to Salt Lake City. The MRI revealed the severity of the injury, confirming that Clarkson had torn his left plantar fascia.

There is no exact timeline for his return, but he will be re-evaluated in two weeks to check on the progress of the injury. This will be Clarkson’s second stint out of the lineup this year after previously missing seven consecutive games between the end of November and the middle of December with left plantar fascia issues.

This means the Jazz will be without Jordan Clarkson for at least their next four games against the Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, and Brooklyn Nets.

In 22 games played this year, Clarkson is averaging 16 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
