With the sixth week of the NFL season on tap, it’s time for the sixth edition of our NFL locals player power rankings.
There are no undefeated teams left in the league, but dozens of players continue to make their mark each week.
Here’s where our rankings stand heading into week six.

KSL Sports Locals In The NFL Power Rankings
Beginning this NFL season, we’ll post weekly player power rankings that shift as players make their mark.
These rankings are subjective — comparing offensive linemen to defensive backs, and quarterbacks to linebackers will never be perfect.
As the 2025 season goes on, performances in recent years matter less and less. Enough build-up, let’s get to the list.
Honorable Mentions
These are players who are in the mix but on the outside looking in. An argument can be made for each one of these guys, but they failed to make the top ten for one reason or another.
Tyler Allgeier (BYU, Falcons RB), Taron Johnson (Weber State, Bills CB), Kyle Van Noy (BYU, Ravens LB), Jaxson Dart (Roy/Corner Canyon High, Giants QB), Jackson Hawes (Highland High, Bills TE), Jonah Elliss (Utah, Broncos LB), Cody Barton (Utah, Titans LB), Clark Phillips III (Utah, Falcons CB), Dalton Schultz (Bingham High, Texans TE), Taysom Hill (BYU, Saints TE), Kaden Elliss (Judge Memorial High, Falcons LB)
Two former Utes, cornerback Jaylon Johnson and safety Julian Blackmon, would make the top ten but have been ruled out for the foreseeable future with injuries.
Now onto the rankings.
10. Jaylen Warren – East High – Steelers RB
Warren hasn’t played in two weeks, but his early-season performances were enough to keep him in the rankings.
He missed Pittsburgh’s game two weeks ago in Ireland, and the Steelers got a bye last week. He will return to action on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
In three games played, he has nearly 300 scrimmage yards and one receiving touchdown.
9. Rashid Shaheed – Weber State – Saints WR
Shaheed took the top off the defense for the first time this season last week in a win over the Giants.
For the second year in a row, he is on a career pace and will almost certainly set some new career highs if he can stay healthy.
In week five, he posted four catches for 114 yards and a TD.

8. Garett Bolles – Utah – Broncos OL
Despite an off week against the Eagles, Bolles and the Broncos still handed Philadelphia its first loss.
He allowed one hurry, one pressure, and finished with his worst PFF run blocking grade of the season (50.1). Still, he remains the best pass-blocking offensive lineman in the NFL, and the fifth-best overall.
7. Dalton Kincaid – Utah – Bills TE
After the first triple-digit receiving game of his career, Kincaid rightfully jumps up in our rankings.
He finished with six catches for 108 yards. PFF has the former Ute as the fifth-highest graded tight end in the NFL. Through five weeks, he still has zero drops.
6. Penei Sewell – Desert Hills High – Lions OL
Sewell didn’t allow a single sack, pressure, hurry, or QB hit last week.
PFF has Sewell as the No. 1 run blocker and No. 1 overall offensive lineman in the league.
5. Bobby Wagner – Utah State – Commanders LB
Wagner set a season high for both total and solo tackles in week five against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Ironically, it was also the game that saw his first missed tackle. Five weeks and one missed tackle. That sums up what Wagner brings to the table pretty well.
According to PFF grades, the former Aggie is the No. 24 overall defensive player and the No. 6 linebacker.
4. Devin Lloyd – Utah – Jaguars LB
If you become the first linebacker in NFL regular season history to return an interception 99 or more yards for a touchdown, you deserve to place highly in power rankings.
A few months ago, Jacksonville was unsure about giving the former Ute a payday. Now, he is the fourth-best defensive player in the NFL, according to PFF grades.
He currently leads the league in interceptions with four through five weeks.

3. Jordan Love – Utah State – Packers QB
After a bye week, Love slid from the top five in both passing yards and passing TDs to 9th and 16th, respectively.
Still, Green Bay looks to contend this season, and a lot of that relies on the production and efficiency of the former Aggie.
He will return to action against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.
2. Puka Nacua – BYU – Rams WR
Nacua had 85 yards and a touchdown in week five, and you could argue that was a down game for him.
The BYU product leads the NFL in both receptions and receiving yards. Matthew Stafford continues to feed him, and he continues to make plays.
1. Fred Warner – BYU – 49ers LB
Like clockwork, Warner tops our rankings for the sixth week in a row.
He didn’t have his best game last week, but still finished with 12 total tackles (seven solo). He also had an elite 90 PFF rush defense grade.
