SALT LAKE CITY – The seventh week of the 2025 NFL season is just about in the books with only Monday Night Football remaining. Players with local ties made their mark all over the league in week 7.
Every local NFL player who recorded a stat, with the top performances highlighted, or helped their team pick up a win can be found in our weekly roundup.
Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season begins on November 14 as the Chargers host the Vikings on Thursday Night Football.

NFL Locals’ Week 7: Top Performances, All Stats, And More
Top Local NFL Performances
- East High RB Jaylen Warren had 158 scrimmage yards on 16 carries and four receptions on TNF.
- Former Roy and Corner Canyon High QB Jaxson Dart completed 15 of 33 pass attempts for 283 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed five times for 11 yards and one TD.
- Former Utah State LB Bobby Wagner led the Commanders’ defense in tackles with eight total (three solo).
- Former Utah State QB Jordan Love completed 19 of 29 pass attempts for 179 yards and a touchdown. He also scrambled four times for 22 yards.
- Judge Memorial High LB Kaden Elliss finished with eight total tackles (four solo), a QB hit, and an interception on Sunday Night Football.
- Bingham High TE Dalton Schultz led the Texans in receiving on Monday with nine catches for 98 yards.

- Former BYU QB Taysom Hill had two receptions and two carries for eight total yards against Chicago.
- Former Weber State WR Rashid Shaheed had four catches for 40 yards in week eight.
- Former Utah LB Cody Barton posted four total tackles (one solo) in Tennessee’s loss to New England.
- Former BYU DT Khyiris Tonga had two total tackles (one solo) in week seven.
- Former Utah DT Leki Fotu recorded three total tackles (one solo) and a tackle for loss against the Chiefs.
- Former BYU DL Tyler Batty made his NFL debut in week seven and had one solo tackle.

Secured The Win
- Former Southern Utah offensive lineman Braxton Jones and the Chicago Bears improved to 4-2 with a win over the New Orleans Saints.
- Two former BYU Cougars, head coach Andy Reid and offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia, helped the Chiefs to a shutout 31-0 win over Las Vegas.
- Former BYU offensive lineman Brady Christensen and the Panthers prevailed over the Jets in a low-scoring week seven matchup.
- Former Utah offensive lineman Garett Bolles and the Denver Broncos completed a wild fourth-quarter comeback over the New York Giants in week seven.
- Desert Hills High offensive lineman Penei Sewell and the Detroit Lions defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.
