Former Jazzman Kyle Korver Traded To Phoenix

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Jazz sharpshooter Kyle Korver was traded again, this time to the Phoenix Suns according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
He was included in a trade from the Memphis Grizzlies with Jevon Carter that was sent to the Suns in exchange for DeAnthony Melton, Josh Jackson, a 2020 second round pick and a 2021 conditional second round pick.
Korver was traded from the Jazz to the Grizzlies on June 19 with Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen, the 23rd pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and a future first round pick for Mike Conley.
The Grizzlies are trading Kyle Korver and Jevon Carter to the Suns for DeAnthony Melton, Josh Jackson 2020 second-round pick and 2021 conditional second-round pick, league sources tell ESPN.

The Suns are going to buyout the partially guaranteed contract for Korver and will make him an unrestricted free agents. According to Wojnarowski, the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks are interested in signing the 16-year NBA veteran.
When the regular season ended with the Jazz, Korver was contemplating retirement but decided to return for one or two more seasons.
Korver just finished his second stint with the Jazz after Utah acquired him early last season from the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Alec Burks.
This past season, Korver averaged 9.1 points per game and shot 38 percent from downtown. He has one year left on his contract and is set to make $7.5 million.
