Bogdanovic Falls To His Knees, Keeps Play Alive, Scores Against Raptors

TORONTO – Utah forward Bojan Bogdanovic fell to his knees under the basket and kept his dribble alive before rising to his feet to score his first points of the game against the Toronto Raptors.
Bogdanovic’s bucket came during the first quarter of the game between the Jazz and the 2018-29 NBA champion Raptors on Sunday, December 1.
The Jazz forward received a pass from Royce O’Neale with Utah up 7-5 in the first quarter. Bogdanovic drove to the basket with Toronto center Marc Gasol guarding him. Under the basket, Bogey slipped and fell to the court on his knees before he rose up turned around and nailed a six-foot jumper for his first points of the game.

Bogdanovic started the game shooting 1-2 on field goals for 2 points. He added a rebound in his first six minutes of play.
The Jazz forward has led the Jazz in scoring in eight games this season and each of the last three contests. He’s scored in double figures in each game that he’s played in this season.
After the first timeout of the game, the Raptors led the Jazz 13-9 with 6:26 left in the first quarter.
Toronto went on a big run midway through the opening quarter and held a 37-20 advantage over Utah as the two teams went to the second quarter. The Raptors shot 60 percent in the first quarter compared to 40 percent by the Jazz.
