SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz announced that center Ed Davis will be out of the lineup for at least four weeks due to a broken leg.

Utah said that Davis suffered a fractured left fibula during the Jazz’s game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, November 1.

Davis was ruled out of Utah’s lineup after being examined by Jazz medical personnel. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Following Davis’ injury vs. the Kings, Jazz forward Jeff Green played some at the center position. Other than starting center Rudy Gobert, the only other center on Utah’s roster is third-year player Tony Bradley.

Davis has appeared in all six of Utah’s games this season. He’s averaged 1.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 0.2 assists, and 0.5 blocks in 12.2 minutes per game.

The center is one of four Jazz players that the team has listed as “OUT” on their injury report for the game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, November 3.

Along with Davis, Utah has ruled that Dante Exum, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Justin Wright-Foreman will not play vs. the Clips.

The Jazz have a record of 4-2 on the season.

Utah tips off in L.A. on Sunday at 7 p.m.
