Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Blocks Wizards’ Daniel Gafford For Fifth Time

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz center Rudy Gobert rejected a shot attempt by Daniel Gafford for the fifth time during Utah’s game against the Washington Wizards.
The Jazz hosted the Wizards at Vivint Arena on Saturday, December 18.
With 7:03 left in the third quarter, Gobert blocked a shot from Gafford for his sixth swat of the game and fifth on the Washington center.

Gobert had rejected an attempt by Gafford earlier in the quarter as well.
The three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year opened the game with pair of blocks on Gafford and added another swat in the second quarter.
This season, Gobert is averaging 15.3 points, 14.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.1 blocks, and 0.8 steals per contest.
