Former Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell got married this week

SALT LAKE CITY — Former Utah Jazz All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell tied the knot with his fiancée Coco Jones this week.
The couple got engaged in July last year and made it official during the 2026 offseason.

In addition to the respective friends and families, the wedding had many NBA player attendees.
Philadelphia’s Jaylen Brown, Miami’s Bam Adebayo, Mitchell’s former Jazz teammate Royce O’Neal, and others were all there for the special night.
Who Is Coco Jones?
Mitchell’s wife broke into show business as a child performer on Disney’s “Let It Shine.” Since 2011, she has appeared in four movies and eight television shows.
Jones won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance in 2024 for the song “ICU.”

Her father is longtime NFL defensive end Mike Jones.
Jones was born in South Carolina.
Mitchell’s Career in Utah
In five seasons with the Jazz, Mitchell averaged 23.9 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.2 rebounds, leading the roster to the postseason each year.
The guard was named to three All-Star teams as a member of the Jazz, won the Slam Dunk Contest as a rookie, and became an important voice within the community.
Mitchell’s charitable work during his time in Utah was astounding, including his eye-opening $12 million donation to the Greenwich Country Day School.
The guard was named the NBA Cares Community Assist Award winner for the 2020 offseason because of his numerous charitable donations during his time in Utah.
Over five seasons in Utah, Mitchell ranks among the Jazz’s top 10 all-time leaders in field goals, three-pointers, points, points per game, minutes per game, assists per game, and steals per game.
