Jazz Facing 76ers, Lakers On National Television

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz will look to rebound from losing three of their last four games when they face the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers on national television.

The Jazz will play the Sixers and Lakers in their next two games. Both games will be televised on NBA TV.

Utah is looking to get back on track after losing three of the last four and five of the past nine games.

12/2 @ Philadelphia 76ers

Utah closes out a five-game road trip against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers have yet to lose a game at home this season.

The Jazz and 76ers are meeting for the second time this season.

Utah defeated Philadelphia in Salt Lake City 106-104 on November 6. It was the Sixers’ second loss of the season.

Five Jazz players scored in double figures in the two team’s first matchup. Utah was led by Donovan Mitchell who had 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic added 20 points, 6 boards, and 5 assists.

The Sixers were led by Joel Embiid who recorded 27 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 assists. Philadelphia guard Ben Simmons left the game in the first half due to an injury and did not return.

12/4 vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The Jazz return home for the first time since November 23 to host the Los Angeles Lakers on December 4.

Los Angeles is currently tied for the best record in the NBA.

This will be the second matchup between the Jazz and Lakers this season. Utah played in L.A. in its second game of the season. The Lakers defeated the Jazz 95-86.

Laker forwards Anthony Davis and LeBron James combined for 53 points in the win.

Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 24 points on 7-15 shooting. He added 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in the loss.

Rudy Gobert added 8 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.

Utah was without Bojan Bogdanovic who suffered a sprained ankle in the team’s season opener.

12/7 @ Memphis Grizzlies

Utah will play against the Memphis Grizzlies for the third time in the team’s first 23 games of the season on December 7.

The Jazz will look to take ownership of the season series after splitting the first two games of the season. The first two games were both played in Memphis.

Memphis defeated Utah in their first matchup this season. The Grizzlies beat the Jazz 107-106 on November 15. It was Mike Conley’s first game back in Memphis after being traded to the Jazz in July.

Donovan Mitchell scored 29 points while Rudy Gobert added 23 points but it wasn’t enough for the Jazz to pull out a road win. Conley struggled in the game shooting 5-19 for 15 points.

Grizzlies’ rookie point guard Ja Morant scored 25 points on 9-22 shooting to led Memphis in the win.

In the second matchup of the season, the Jazz defeated the Grizzlies 103-94 on November 29.

Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic scored 16 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter to lead Utah to the win. The Jazzman was 12-20 including 4-8 from three-point range. He added 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.
